- Our Krikit™ wood burning stove is available as a free standing wood stove or as a wood burning fireplace insert. Our largest wood burner to date, we estimate that Krikit™ can produce up to 70,000 BTU’s.
- We started with our time-tested Katydid™ firebox, rotated it 90 degrees to allow for longer logs, added a bigger door and viewing glass, and called it Krikit™. Despite her petite dimensions, Krikit™ can produce as much heat as many bigger stoves—because less heat is wasted up the chimney, so more heat remains in your home.

- Krikit™ clients report burn times of up to 10 hours, embers-to-embers. That’s because our patented gasification technology literally vaporizes the wood to create wood gas {i.e. smoke}. The smoke is re-burned to create heat. Less heat escapes up the chimney.

- Our patented gasification technology in our Krikit™ wood stove, as well as our wood stoves for sale uses a two-stage combustion process. In the first combustion, oxygen is deliberately restricted to create smoke, which is re-burned as fuel in the second combustion to create heat for your home.
- Think of our 2-stage combustion process as a time-release pill, which releases its active ingredient over a longer period of time to maintain more even therapeutic levels. Likewise, our Krikit™ wood burning stove extends her heat production over a longer period of time for more even temperatures in your home. Not only will you enjoy a longer burn time per load, but you’ll need to cut and burn less wood each winter.
